International Students Welcome

Building Your Tech Career in Taiwan

Moving to a new country for education takes courage. We've helped students from 23 countries navigate everything from visa paperwork to finding their first apartment in Tainan. Our program isn't just about learning to code—it's about building a life here while you study.

What Makes Taiwan Different

Taiwan's tech scene surprises a lot of people. You've got this interesting mix of established semiconductor companies and scrappy startups, all within a culture that values precision and craftsmanship.

Tainan specifically offers something unique—lower living costs than Taipei, a slower pace that helps you focus on learning, and honestly, some of the best street food you'll find anywhere. We've watched students fall in love with this city.

English-friendly curriculum with Mandarin language support sessions twice weekly
Housing assistance program connects you with verified landlords who work with international tenants
Cultural buddy system pairs you with local students for language exchange and city navigation
Airport pickup service and first-week orientation covering banking, mobile plans, and transportation

Visa and Documentation Support

The paperwork part stresses everyone out. We can't do it for you, but we've guided enough students through this process that we know exactly where people get stuck.

Student Visa Guidance

We provide detailed checklists for your home country's Taiwan representative office. Each country has slightly different requirements—we keep updated lists for the most common ones and help you verify what you need.

Financial Documentation

You'll need to show proof of funds. We give you realistic budget breakdowns based on actual student expenses in Tainan, so you know what numbers make sense for your application.

Enrollment Certification

Once you're accepted, we issue official enrollment letters within three business days. These are formatted specifically for visa applications and include all required program details.

Health Insurance Setup

Taiwan's National Health Insurance kicks in after six months. We help you arrange temporary coverage for that first period and explain the enrollment process for NHI when you're eligible.

ARC Registration

The Alien Resident Certificate comes after you arrive. We walk you through the National Immigration Agency process, help fill out forms, and make sure you have all required documents.

Extension Procedures

If you want to stay for our advanced programs, we handle the school documentation for visa extensions. You'll still do the application yourself, but we make sure our part is sorted.

Your Application Timeline

Planning ahead makes everything smoother. Here's what the process actually looks like for our August 2026 intake.

1

Initial Application

Submit your application with transcripts and a short essay about why you're interested in tech. We read every application personally—no automated scoring. You'll hear back within two weeks.

Interview Round

Video interviews let us get to know you better. We ask about your goals, walk through a simple logic problem together, and answer your questions about living in Taiwan. It's conversational, not intimidating.

Arrival and Orientation

Orientation week covers practical essentials—opening bank accounts, getting SIM cards, registering with immigration, and navigating the city. Classes begin the following Monday.

Life Beyond the Classroom

Learning happens in class, but growing happens everywhere else. Tainan's night markets become your testing ground for ordering in Mandarin. Weekend trips to Kenting Beach are where study groups turn into actual friendships.

We organize monthly social events—sometimes tech-focused like hackathons, sometimes just exploring the city together. Former students often stick around Tainan after graduation because they've built real connections here.

The international student community here isn't huge, which actually works in your favor. You get to know everyone, and there's always someone willing to share their experience with apartment hunting or recommend which local restaurants won't break your budget.
